Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: July 2026

Welcome to our website. These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website and the commissioning of bespoke architectural planter arrangements from Artisan Planters(“we”, “us”, or “our”).

Artisan Planters is a trading name of Vanquish Capital Partners Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under Company Number 09763111. Our registered office is located at 219 Burton Road, Derby, England, DE23 6AE.

1. Bespoke Commissions & Showroom

Every piece created by Artisan Planters is individually designed, hand-composed, and unique. Inherent variations in planting (such as shape, foliage texture, and sizing) and artisan containers (such as finish, patination, and shade) are natural characteristics and are key features of bespoke work.

We offer private showroom garden visits at our studio in Linby, Nottinghamshire, strictly by appointment. All quotes provided following consultations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Payment Terms

For all commissions:

  • We require a deposit or full payment as specified in your quotation before we commence the acquisition of specimen trees, artisan containers, and design composition.
  • The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to or upon delivery and situational positioning.
  • Invoices are payable within 7 days of issue unless alternative terms are specified in writing. We reserve the right to charge interest on late payments.

3. Delivery & Situational Positioning

Our services include professional delivery and situational positioning (styling in situ) of your planter compositions.

  • You must ensure that there is clear, safe, and unobstructed access to the designated positioning location on the delivery day.
  • If access is restricted, or if the positioning requires significant extra labor beyond what was agreed, we reserve the right to leave the planters at the threshold or charge an additional fee for labor and rescheduling.
  • Risk in the planter compositions passes to you upon delivery and positioning in situ.

4. Plant Care & Guarantees

We source only premium specimens, container soil blends, and materials. With every planter composition, we provide a simple care guide containing practical advice on watering, drainage, light, and seasonal maintenance.

Because plants are living organisms, their health depends heavily on the care, watering, environment, and weather conditions in your setting. As such:

  • We do not offer long-term warranties or guarantees on plant survival post-delivery.
  • If you notice any health issues with your plants within 14 days of delivery, you must contact us immediately, and we will work with you to diagnose and support the specimen.

5. Cancellations & Returns

As our planter arrangements are custom-built, planted, and tailored to your specific architectural space, they are classified as bespoke, made-to-order goods. Under UK consumer law:

  • Bespoke commissions are non-refundable and cannot be returned once work has commenced or been delivered, unless there is a material defect in the container or plant at the time of delivery.
  • Cancellations prior to delivery will result in the loss of any design fee or deposit to cover materials sourced.

6. Website Use & Intellectual Property

All content, text, designs, visual assets, and images displayed on our website or social media are the intellectual property of Artisan Planters and Vanquish Capital Partners Ltd. Unauthorized reproduction, copying, or use of our designs or media is strictly prohibited.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and any agreement for bespoke commissions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
